Mount Clemens High School Alumni Association

Mission Statement:  

It is our mission to offer all alumni of Mount Clemens High School a means to keep in touch with their classmates and provide them with current information about activities or events relating to the school, the faculty, or the alumni.

History

The first Alumni Association was formed in 1885 by Prof. Wesley Sears who held the dual positions of Superintendent of Schools and Principal of the High School from 1876 to 1885. He requested the group be organized for the benefit of the school. A constitution was adopted and officers duly elected at the first meeting on Commencement Day, June 1885. Over the years, interest and attendance diminished due to changing ideas about the purpose and nature of the organization. Fortunately, there was a revival of interest in 1995 and the Alumni Association is once again active and membership is steadily increasing.

  

MCHS Alumni Board Meetings

We are seeking new alumni to please join our board. If you are free to help keep this association going strong, stop in at our next meeting!

Everyone is welcome to join our monthly Board Meetings on the last Tuesday of each month in the lower level conference room of the Mount Clemens Public Library.  The meetings begin at 1:00pm.  (There are NO meetings during the months of July and December).
