Old and Young Alumni Association - Bonner C. Upshaw II Community Service Award:

The Bonner C. Upshaw II's Community Service Award is awarded annually to someone who has demonstrated a commitment to the community, through volunteerism, working with local groups to promote racial harmony, and supporting our youth to further their education.  These were the ideals that led, founding member Bonner Upshaw to form the Old and Young Alumni Association of Mt. Clemens School System (OYAA).  Bonner Upshaw served the community well as a Mount Clemens Police Officer.  He loved the area in which he served.  The Association found it fitting that the award be named after him.
