2006-2007 Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award

These exemplary teachers have been nominated by their colleagues, who wish to focus public attention on the importance of their exceptionally dedicated, knowledgeable, and skilled teaching ability along with their ability to inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn. The respect and admiration they have of students, parents, and colleagues, and how they play an active and useful role in the community, as well as in the Mount Clemens Community School District is admirable.

Congratulations to this year's outstanding teachers!

A panel of judges were asked to choose a Mount Clemens Community School District elementary, middle school, and high school building Outstanding Teacher of the Year as candidates for the Macomb Intermediate School District's Outstanding Teacher of the Year county-level competition. The selected district honorees are James Wagner, Nicole Clark, and Liz McMillan. The District would also like to honor Suzanne Shea as the district early childhood winner, but unfortunately, the MISD does not include early childhood in the county-level competition. Provided for you are the nominations submitted on behalf of our district Outstanding Teacher of the Year honoree.
