Fieldtrips

Each year the kindergartens and their teachers took a trip to the Detroit Zoo to see all the animals they had been learning about in school. The students were able to see the animals first hand and learn even more about them. Don't think the learning stopped there; teachers extended their units on animals even after they returned.

Fourth Grade enjoyed visiting the Detroit Science Center.  The students experienced Blown Away! Wild Weather in the Dassault Systemes Planetarium.  But before the show the students got to explore the Center's many hands-on exhibits.
