Washington Academy Student Success Lab offers literacy support for students in grades 1 to 5 who have been identified as needing additional support with reading, writing, comprehension, fluency, phonemic awareness, vocabulary and word usage. The program is lead by experienced elementry school literacy educators with additional educators to give assistance. They operate daily with students, working one on one in a small classroom setting. The Sudent Success program works with the childs' own classroom literacy program. There is regular communication between the Student Success staff, the classroom teachers and the parents to ensure that each student's individual needs are being met. |

Resources |
| In helping the child to reach their academic goals, the Student Success Lab uses a variety of resources above and beyond standard classroom materials to help achieve lifelong skills necessary to be successful in their educational journey. Technology plays an important role in this process. The children are exposed to engaging, interactive and research based computer software programs which are not available in their standard classroom setting, that challenge their existing skills and lays the foundation for new tools and strategies that the child can use to succeed. |
