Dear Parents and Students, We are anxiously awaiting the results of the Michigan Merit Exam test that our juniors took back in March. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the juniors for their excellent behavior and academic focus during these stressful three days. I am currently working on the 2010/2011 master schedule. The students will soon be submitting their course requests for the next school year. I will do everything that I can to see that the students receive the best possible class schedule. Students will have more interest-based choices with the Creative Arts and Communications Academy and the Medical Bio-Science Academy both in full swing next year. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the girl’s soccer, boy’s baseball, girl’s tennis and track teams for the way they represent Mount Clemens High School. The student athletes, coaches and parents deserve a lot of credit for exhibiting a true sense of sportsmanship and teamwork. Parents, we need your help in encouraging the students to keep working hard right up to the last day of school. With summer approaching, students tend to lose focus. The spring months bring warmer weather and more comfortable close, so please remember that our school dress code is still in effect (see dress code policy). We are also experiencing problems with students being late to class, so please check this edition for more information regarding tardiness. Don’t forget to tell your friends and family about the opening of our new Medical Bio-Science Academy next fall. We would love to have them join the Mount Clemens High School family.
Sincerely,
Michael Bruce,MCCS Secondary Campus Principal
