Dear Parents and Students,
The first semester is almost over and our winter sports are in full gear. The junior high boy's basketball and volleyball teams are under way, as well as, the high school wrestling, and boy's and girl's basketball teams. Please come out and support your Bathers and Bulldogs.
I want to thank the families for coming out to support the Holiday Band Concert and the junior high Spaghetti Dinner and Title I night. Please check our newsletter and website closely for upcoming events, such as, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day cleebrations, Family University series, MME prep courses, EduLink and other important information.
First semester final exams for high school students begin on January 19, 2010 and continue through January 22, 2010. Please help us instill the importance of our students performing their absolute best on these exams.
Parents, remember that your support at home is a dynamic part of our student success in the classroom. Please get involved in your child's educaiton. Talk with your kids about their school day; help them with their homework; provide a quiet workplace for them; and let them know that you are confident that they will succeed. Encourage your students to wear their IDs. Contact the school office to find our how you can get involved.
