Dear Families,

The secondary administration of Mount Clemens Community Schools would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our families. We are very excited about the 2009-2010 school year. We feel that this school year will be filled with many opportunities for continued successes in the classroom as well as in the many outstanding programs offered at both the high school and junior high levels. To ensure a successful year as a true learning community, our secondary campus is committed to the following covenant for grades 7-12:

1. Students will be expected to come to class prepared and on time every period of every day, as instruction will begin when students walk in the door.

1. Teachers will be consistent in following classroom management procedures, and students will be expected to adhere to these guidelines.

2. Teachers and students will wear identification badges as a means of maintaining a safe learning environment and open lines of communication.

3. Teachers and students will exhibit an attitude of mutual respect to foster caring relationships among the staff, students and community members.

4. To maintain a culture of success and eliminate classroom distractions, students will be expected to wear appropriate attire and honor policies regarding cell phones, iPods, and other electronic devices.
