How to Enroll

Visit the school your child will  attend to complete the enrollment process.

School of Choice Enrollment

Mount Clemens Community Schools welcomes applications for school of choice students of all grade levels living outside of district boundaries. The application period for the 2nd Semester of the 2023-24 school year is open from April 20, 2023 - September 8, 2023 for students in Developmental Kindergarten - 12th grades.

Required Enrollment Documentation

  • Birth Certificate - Actual certificate, copies or hospital birth record is not valid.
  • Immunization Records - All shots must be given prior to enrollment.Immunizations are available through your family doctor or through the Macomb County Health Department.  
  • Two Proofs of Residency -  Driver's license of parent/guardian, lease agreement, mortgage, utility bill, and/or property tax statements.
  • Other Legal Documents -  Custody or guardianship paperwork, foster care paperwork.  All documents must have current dates and signatures.
  • Hearing and Vision Screening - For New Kindergarten Students Only
  • Free Vision and Hearing Screening is available for children ages 3 - 18 at the Macomb County Health Department, call 586 412-5945 for more information.

  • Any student entering MCHS in the middle of a card- marking period must supply the following: withdrawal grades, current report card, attendance records, and disciplinary records from his or her previous school.
