Welcome to Seminole GSRP, home of the Mount Clemens Community School District! We would love to welcome you and your family to our community.
The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is a state-funded preschool program designed for eligible 4-year-olds (children must turn 4 by September 1st of the upcoming school year). Our 5-day-a-week program operates from 8:30 AM to 3:27 PM and follows the Mount Clemens District Calendar.
Here are a few highlights of what our program offers:
- Transportation: Bus service is available for in-district students. - Meals: Free, nutritious breakfast, lunch, and daily snacks are provided. - Curriculum: Utilizing The Creative Curriculum, children build foundational skills in math, early reading, science, and social-emotional development through hands-on activities and field trips. - Family Engagement: We actively partner with families through home visits, parent-teacher conferences, and regular updates on your child's developmental progress.
If your primary goal is to prepare your 4-year-old for kindergarten in a program closely connected to the local school system, GSRP is a wonderful fit.
